Do You Fusion Code or Vibe Code ?

The term ‘vibe coding’ has never really sat right with me, as it suggests the AI is doing most of the heavy lifting, which (in my experience at least) is rarely the case when you're doing serious development with AI tools.

So I'm proposing a better term:

➡️ Fusion Coding

This more accurately describes the real workflow i.e.

Rapid AI-assisted code generation combined with manual coding, deliberate architectural decisions, and deep domain knowledge specific refinements. Human intelligence and AI capability fused together, not one replacing the other.

So do you Fusion Code or Vibe Code?
